    • Business Statistics instructor and co-author, Jim Cochran, will discuss the changing Business Statistics course and the impact of digital solutions both in and outside of the classroom.  His unique experience as an author and instructor will help to redefine how you engage your students.

    10:45am – 11:30am         The Evolving Classroom in Business Statistics

    • In this session you will collaborate with your colleagues in an open discussion on topics like students' Excel skills, the overall relevance of the course, conceptual understanding of Excel, reducing student fear of Business Statistics, promotion of critical-thinking, and the interpretation of data and problem solving skills to name a few. This open discussion will look to find out the successes and struggles you might be currently facing.

    1:15pm – 1:45pm             Continuation of the Evolving Classroom

    • Find out how your colleagues are managing the evolving classroom in Business Statistics.  Here, you will have an opportunity to present as a group your findings and discuss how they have affected your success in the classroom. 

    1:45pm – 3:00pm             Improving Your Students' Skills

    • This session will provide you with a deep look into the MindTap product and more importantly into the partnership with Microsoft that has yielded our in-product Excel Online activities as well as our Exploring Statistics visualizations.

    3:00pm – 3:15pm             PM Break

    3:15pm – 4:15pm             Personalize Your MindTap Course

    • See the next evolution in online engagement for students. In this session you will have the opportunity to explore MindTap in a hands-on environment, engaging with Excel Online and Exploring Statistics problems. You, as the instructor, can direct the ideal learning experience for students.

    4:15pm – 5:00pm             General Session: Impact of Mobile Devices on Educational Content
