    • Designing a classroom framework that fosters student engagement is often at the top of instructors' wish lists when teaching a course. Please join us for a discussion to share your experience working with these various tools.

    10:45am – 11:30am         Increasing Engagement in the Business Law Course

    • Business Law instructor Leanne DeFoor from the University of West Georgia will discuss her course needs and challenges and explain how she uses MindTap to solve those needs.  Leanne will share her journey to increased preparedness, engagement and results in the Business Law course.

    • We invite each instructor to come to the meeting prepared to discuss/present a favorite tip or trick to (a) engage students, (b) flip the classroom, or (c) foster a "teachable moment." Each instructor will have 5-7 minutes to present an idea that will inspire others.  At the end of this session, you will walk away with some new and innovative teaching ideas.

    • Get an opportunity to dive into technology specifically designed for your course. You will have the opportunity to review digital content for Business Law to get familiar with what your students would experience and the types of content available to them outside of the classroom to help with their success. You will also be able to see the tools that will help you as an instructor.

In this session, we will discuss reactions and feedback regarding specific features of MindTap to ensure we are providing you and your students with the tools that will lead to greater engagement and understanding in this course. Together, we can create the next generation of technology by brainstorming new resources and refining the ones we have.
