    It is time to submit your ideas for the 2015 Best in Class Award!

    If you believe in the art of instruction, the power of engagement, and the spark of discovery in economic education, we are looking for you!

    This award highlights and rewards creative and engaging teaching techniques. Submit your ideas for a chance to win cash awards for you and your department, as well as a trip to present your ideas at the Economics Teaching Conference sponsored by the National Economics Teaching Association and Cengage Learning.

    HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Contest, submit the following two items to bestinclassaward@gmail.com by Friday, September 28, 2015: 
    1.   A brief Word document (500 – 1000 words) describing your teaching technique and how it has worked for You.
    2.   The URL for a brief, five-to-eight-minute video that you have posted to YouTube. The video should briefly describe your technique, and –if possible—show it in action.


    • 1st Place: $1,000 for winner, $500 for department, trip to the Economics Teaching Conference  
    • 2nd Place: $500 for winner, $250 for department, trip to the Economics Teaching Conference 
    • 3rd Place: $100 for winner and a trip to the Economics Teaching Conference
