    Gale Virtual Reference Library

Gale recently partnered with prestigious publishers Springer, Elsevier, and Wiley to bring you subject-specific eBook Collections on GVRL for every discipline. Featuring over 3,000 monograph titles, these eBook Collections offer your students and faculty access to the newest, must-have in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Health and Medicine.

Gale’s proprietary InfoTrac technology builds a web of connections across Gale resources – helping researchers find the content they need, when they need it, without having to know the specific resource in which to find it. Connecting current articles from newspapers, magazines, and journals with contextual reference content found within eBooks on GVRL, InterLink allows users to find more of what they are looking for while gaining exposure and increasing usage within your GVRL holdings.

    Smithsonian Collections Online

Gale and the Smithsonian Institution have partnered to give libraries a unique opportunity to provide students, faculty, and researchers the chance to look behind the glass of the Smithsonian exhibits and collections.

Gale is digitizing primary source materials from deep within the museums, libraries, and archives of the world’s largest museum and research complex, making it available digitally, in searchable formats, and integrating it with software that aligns with scholarly workflow.  Gale is releasing two new archives in June: Trade Literature and the Merchandising of Industry and World’s Fair and Expositions: Visions of Tomorrow, which will join Air & Space and Smithsonian Magazine Archive on the Smithsonian Collections Online platform.
